Focus Features has released the first trailer of The Sparks Brothers, the upcoming documentary movie directed by Edgar Wright. The movie is about the brothers Ron and Russell Mael, who form the American pop-rock duo known as Sparks.
The film reflects Wright’s personal love for the Sparks, along with images covering the Mael brothers’ career, as well as exclusive interviews with the group and some of their famous fans and fellow musicians, and their unique animation techniques. Even those who have never heard of this cult favorite group before will find themselves new fans thanks to this documentary.
In addition to directing, Wright also produces the film with Nira Park, George Hencken and Laura Richardson. In total, more than 80 people were interviewed for this film.
