Sam Rechner has joined the cast of the Autobiographical Film based on Spielberg’s childhood memories.
Sam Rechner will play the high school classmate of a young and promising director in Steven Spielberg’s new film. The Australian actor joins an impressive cast that includes Oscar nominees Michelle Williams, Seth Rogen, and Paul Dano. At the same time, he is shown among the young talents.
Julia Butters and Gabriel LaBelle, who debuted with the movie “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” have also signed on for the movie. Michelle Williams will play a spin-off of Spielberg’s mother, Dano as her father, and Rogen as her beloved uncle.
The eponymous film is based on Spielberg’s years growing up as a cinematic kid in Arizona. At the age of 12, Spielberg made his first home movie. The film is a huge hit in Hollywood, partly because it conveys a childlike sense of wonder for Spielberg’s films.
Principal photography for the new movie begins near Los Angeles in July and is scheduled for release in 2022. Spielberg co-wrote the script with Tony Kushner, with whom he had previously worked on the films “Munich” and “Lincoln.” We will continue to share new news please follow the International Film Platform
