The Leading Actors of the Searchlight Movie Have Been Announced.
Lucy Boynton is set to play Marie Antoinette in Searchlight’s biopic Chevalier de Saint-Georges, starring Kelvin Harrison Jr. Searchlight had approved Stephen Williams to shoot this movie last summer and made the first announcement. Samara Weaving has also recently joined the cast.
Born in the French Caribbean in 1745, Saint-Georges is the son of an African slave and a French rancher. As a violinist, composer, and champion fencer, he dazzled and gained an impossible place in French society. A love affair with a French noblewoman leads to his untimely downfall.
The film is produced by Robinson and Dianne McGunigle for Llement Pictures. Filming is scheduled to begin shortly and for screening by the end of 2022. We will continue to share new news please follow the International Film Platform
