The film delves into the relationship between Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Dana Canedy and US Army soldier Charles Monroe King and takes its name from the diaries Charles Monroe King wrote for his son Jordan. These diaries, which reflect King’s love for both his son and Dana, took on a different meaning after his murder in Iraq in 2006.
