Toni Collette Starring in ‘Mafia Mamma’ Movie.
Toni Collette will star in “Mafia Mamma,” about a mother who inherits her grandfather’s Mafia empire. Catherine Hardwicke is directing the film, which is expected to begin production in Italy in late spring 2022. Debbie Jhoon and J. Michael Feldman wrote the script.
The cast also includes Monica Bellucci and Rob Huebel.
Collette said, “I couldn’t be more excited to do this movie with Catherine and her crew. It’s a pure, fish-out-of-water movie and a feminist spine. I think we can all handle such an uplifting, laugh-out-loud story right now. Come to Italy!” She explained her feelings about the movie.
